Friday, 20 September to Sunday, 22 September 2019
City Temple – Friday evening and Saturday morning
Institute of Education (20 Bedford Way) – Saturday evening and Sunday morning
We are joyfully looking forward to fantastic family time together this autumn. Disciples and friends from our family of churches in the UK & Ireland (and a few from around the world) will be gathering for a weekend of lessons, family-friendly games, fellowship and fun.
We have visiting speakers Todd & Patty Asaad from Dallas, Texas and Peter & Magdalena Hoijer from Helsinki, Finland alongside more familiar speakers from around the UK & Ireland: Arlee & Maggie Butterfield (Dublin), Paolo Ugolini (Glasgow), Chris & Theresa Broom (Manchester), Roger Frimpong (Birmingham), Mohan & Helen Nanjundan (London) and Bruce Miller (HOPE worldwide UK).
The Conference will start on Friday with games at 6:30 pm and the main address at 7:30 pm. It ends on Saturday at 7:15 pm after the final lesson or 10:30 pm after the Party!
Sunday Worship – there will be a few breakout sessions from 9 am to 10 am. Sunday school starts at 10:15 am, the service starts at 10:30 am and finishes at 12:00 noon.
London church members who are able to will host participants from outside London. Please note that most live in Greater London rather than central London and therefore you will need to consider transport options. More information will be available shortly. If you wish to stay somewhere more local to our two venues a list of nearby hotels and hostels will be available shortly.
Friday evening and Saturday morning at City Temple and Saturday evening at the IoE – a room will be set aside for parents with infants and toddlers up to age 2. This will be unsupervised and any child care will be your own responsibility.
Classes will be provided on Sunday for children aged 2-12 years old. Classes start before the service, 10:15 am – please take your child straight to their class.
City Temple – There is a lift between floors and accessible toilets.
Institute of Education (20 Bedford Way) – All halls and rooms are accessible and a managed evacuation process is available from areas on levels 1 and 3 of the building for persons with mobility impairment.
